My interest in taking pictures started at the age of ten. Eager to turn my passion for the subject into my profession, I went on to study photography at the University of Gloucestershire before initially starting out as a freelance photographer. After landing my first job in the photography industry, I pursued a career in journalism to work for the UK's best selling photography magazine.

Since then, I have been working for many national magazines and relocated from the north back to the south of England to my hometown of Tonbridge in Kent. I continue to work within the photo industry as a journalist for the UK’s weekly photography publication - Amateur Photographer magazine.

I have always enjoyed using my camera and interacting with people. I discovered my love of doing both by shooting portraits for family and friends, and assisting wedding photographers for many years in my early twenties, I now have the experience to work solo and travel across the country photographing people's most important day.

If you were to ask the question "what's your wedding style?" I'd say it's all about merging into the background and capturing the special moments in an unobtrusive manner. On your special day, I'll be there right from the moment you're getting ready through to the last dance and beyond, documenting your early preparations, your ceremony and of course those drunken antics!
